Vigilance Complaint can be lodged on the portal. Vigilance complaints are broadly those that
pertain to obtaining illegal gratification of any kind by corrupt means or by abusing official
position for self or others, possession of assets disproportionate to known sources of income,
misappropriation, forgery, cheating and other complaints which falls in the domain of Vigilance
angle as defined CVC.
The complaint on this portal are expected to be organization specific i.e. Goa Shipyard Ltd.,
Goa. The Complaint can also be lodged directly on Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) web site.
The complainants who wants identity to be kept secret, should lodge a complaint under
Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers Resolution (PIDPI) or GSL Whistle
Blower Policy.
Complaint should be genuine and not malicious, vexatious or frivolous and should be based on
verifiable facts.
Complaint should be specific with adequate evidences. The complaint should not be biased or
based on any personal grievances.
The complaint should not be anonymous or pseudonymous. Such complaints will not be considered
for any action.
Some fields in the VCMS form are mandatorily to be filled.
